Last night I had a really rough night. Sebastian (my two week old son) wouldn't go to sleep for nothing no matter how much i fed him and after i changed him he still wouldn't go to sleep i don't think he actually fell asleep till about 1 in the morning so boy was i exhausted today. He is alseep right now but im going to wake him up before to long so that way he will go to sleep with in a few hours of waking up but sometimes it can be hard when i have been with him all day and all i need is some sleep and he is like no im not sleeping cause im a baby and i need to be awake and if you don't give me what i want well i will cry lol im hoping tonight will go better. I think we may have had issues last night cause he kept dozing off on my breast and i don't think he was getting completely filled but i went ahead and pumped tonight to make sure we know how much he is getting.

My first child was born in a UK hospital a lot of years ago. A nurse told me something and it paid off with all three of my kids. She said give the baby a warm bath about 10p.m. and feed it then put it to bed. If it wakes up change it if need be and give it a little warm water to drink if it fusses. She told me babies are smart enough to realize that warm water isn't worth fussing for. She told me not to give it anything but the water between 10p.m. and 6 a.m. Well I did that and in no time my kids were sleeping through the night. It might be worth a try. Good luck.

..well, i have also experience that and according to doctors, its natural for babies to be like that at first.. it is advisable then that if the baby is asleep, we sleep too so that we can have enough strength to take care of them again once they are awake.. it's hard but happy right?
