Would you give up on pirated games if you could get it cheap?

I feel that some of the computer games are very overpriced, which is the sole reason for people to resort to pirated stuff. But games like the Orange Box, which packs in about 5 games and still costs only Rs. 999, proves that gamers would give up pirated games if the originals were cheaper. Recently too I heard Valve had all their collection up for really cheap price on Steam. So, what would you do?

Well... as bad as it may seem, I'd still pirate games. As cheap as games may be, I'd still get them online for free. My parents won't let me buy any games, so the only way I can get games is by pirating them. Though I don't do it too often unless theres a game I really want. Usually now, I play online mmorpgs so I don't really ever pirate games though I have pirated around 10 games which isn't as bad as some people.

As for me ... most times I will usually find "free" copies of games to try out if i've never heard of the game, or am really hurting on cash. however, if it's a game from a series i know, or a publisher that i really like, i will buy without hesitation. Diablo 3, StarCraft 2 amoung those. however if it's a game such as some of the Warhammer or Shooter style games, i will download the game and "try before i buy."
