93 Year Old Man Freezes To Death Cause Electric Company Shut Off His Power.

Every one needs to read this article. This poor man. He froze to death because his power company put something on his house to limit his electric use because he owed 1100.00 dollars. No one discussed or showed him how it worked. No one checked on him and the worst part is he was 93 years old. What is wrong with any company when they value a dollar more than a life? Just goes to show how screwed up people are!! 93 years old, give him a dam break! How the heck did they expect him to come up with money at all! Any company is like that anymore, they don't care about the well being of any person as long as they get their money. Makes me sick! Same for mortgage companies, so many homes are being forclosed on they don't care if those families have a place to go or not. If you don't give them their money they boot you to the road!

I was JUST ABOUT to start a thread on this very thing..I'm FLOORED and quite frankly I'm disgusted that the hydro company wasnt more compassionate to his needs and didnt find another way aroudn his back bills.. I think its just VILE that this sort of thing could happen to be honest with you..
