Do You get Inspiring Ideas or Concepts when sick or at your Lowest points?

It seems like when I'm sick, I get inspiring thoughts about what I'm going to do when I get better. Usually it's about exercising or eating better so I get sick less often, or not at all. And, when I have a fever, I get the strangest thoughts and dreams. I am getting over a cold and yesterday and the day before spend most of the day in bed. I am still congested, but feeling better; thanx. At least no more sore throat. But my Mom told me she now has a sore throat. I so hope she doesn't have what I have. I won't go into detail, but it's not very pretty. Anyway, I got a great idea for a film. Actually I have several ideas for a film. I have always wanted to make movies, but I was focusing more on the camerawork angle, instead of just thinking about writing a good screenplay and directing. I am a college drop out English major. I have never made a film. But I just got so inspired that this idea/concept will be a movie I actually want to see. I recently saw an independent film where the director mentioned he had one rule:"I never make a film that I wouldn't want to see." That is a great motivator for me. What thoughts have you had while at a low point, or stuck in bed for 2 days straight? Let me hear your thoughts.

I get inspired by all kinds of things all the time. I think though that it's when I'm at my low points that I go deliberately looking for inspiration. Something to take my mind off what is, or to improve my health, my life etc.

When I'm sick or depressed, creativity is the last thing on my mind. So I don't get inspired.
I hope you can make your idea into a good screenplay. If all directors felt the way that one did, we'd have much better movies--so much of them are crap nowadays.
