I think I'll leave that weaving stuff to someone that has more patience. I'd give up in nothing flat

Thanks this is a nice video. I have been searching for some plan on how to make a good heddle as I have found a weaving frame I had but would like to have a haddle to weave easier.

hi dolpin2406...i thot it was fascinating to watch and he sure made it look easy. hehe. About the heddle. until you find one you like, some people make heddles out of string, or even craft sticks.

Quite entertaining, but they just leave the ends. I know when you weave you have to work the following threads down hard enough that the threads won't come loose, but what about the ones at the beginning and end? I've done a little weaving way back when I was in school, but I've never had the patience or desire to learn. Yeah, I'm way too technical!

hi thebeaddoodler, i wondered about that myself. personally i would tie a knot to secure it then weave the end into the back side. and i'm with you i don't have the patience for it. i gave it a miniature try and i liked the flat look but it was extremely slow. i'll just appreciate other people's work hehe. and you had weaving in school which is good for students to experience. on to explore other things now. enjoy your new explorations.
