Does anyone else love pistachio nuts?

I'm always trying to eat better to lose weight and generally be healthier so I try to eat nuts instead of other sugary fatty snacks. One of my favourites is pistachio nuts I like the fact you shell them without a nut cracker and the unusual colour, and of course the taste. I've heard of ice cream with pistachio nuts though I've never eaten it, do you know of any recipes that use pistachio nuts? Or do you just like to eat them as snack like me?

I love pistachio! :) And yes, there is a pistachio flavored ice cream... it's actually my favorite. There's a local ice cream brand here and their pistachio ice cream is just heavenly! It captures the taste of the pistachio nut and... you guessed it... it's color green. :)

I still haven't managed to find it in England yet as an ice cream flavour, I'll just have to keep looking.

yes dear nancyrowina i love pista.
and love to eat them in plenty.
we get lot of ice creams in the market which are loaded with pista nuts along with or without cashew and dried grapes!!
even other sweets of all sorts are loaded with pista nuts ,and even the salted stuff to make them more exotic!!

The ice cream with cashew nuts and dried grapes too sounds lovely, you don't get them in many products in the UK really, probably because they cost so much because they have to be imported.
