Cat's or Dog's?

I personally have a cat and a dog. It's so...... hard to compare, dogs can be quite fun and playful and are considered mans best friend. But they are more human reliable, as in they need us humans around to keep them alive, fit, healthy, etc. Where as cats are fun (sometimes) but are more self reliable meaning they can hunt for them self's, keep them self's clean, healthy, etc. What would you pick?
