What do you think about this? I think it is ridiculous. What was he supposed to do, tell his kids to play badly. Plus it is an insult to the team that lost. Who will want to schedule games with them if the coaches have to rig the games so they will look better. From the interviews I saw none of the players on the losing team were that disturbed by the loss. What is next, teachers telling A students to make B's so the poorer performing students won't feel bad. The parents at both schools should be protesting this firing of the coach. Hey NFL teams why didn't one of you step up and let Detroit win one, I guess all of the coaches of the teams they played should be fired. It is a very bad practice to make students, athletes or anyone do worse than they are able just for political correctness.

I am a Patriots fan and we went through something like this as far as how bad it was to drive up the points. My outlook on this is that you are there to play the game and play the best that you can and if you kick their butts so be it. This is what is wrong with todays youth, you just give things to them and they do not have to work for it. Schools are getting rid of the honor roll because kids that do not make it feel bad. I am sorry my children are exceptional students and they should be praised and recognized for that. If my child didn't make honor roll the answer would be well try harder and maybe next time you will get it.
The coach was hired to do his job and evidently he has done it well. I am sure soon you will seee a law suit come from this.
