Elephant Seal Vacation and Recommendations?

I'm going on a mini vacation soon along the coast of California to see the elephant seals. Has anyone here done this before? Do you have any recommendations on hotels or motels to stay in? Did you get a lot of good photos?
I'm hoping to go up there soon to see them in the wild! I see them nearly every week at the rehab center, but I've never seen an elephant seal in the wild unless you can count when I've helped release some.

I hope you got the information you need and were able to go see them, do you have any pictures? I'd love to see them in person myself!

Thanks! Yes, I was able to go see them. I took over 2,000 photos (I know, I was shocked myself!).
I will try to post a photo of them soon. Maybe I'll make it my avatar or something. I got a bunch of cool photos.
I would definitely recommend going to see them. It was so cool to see them in the wild. I volunteer with elephant seals every week, but seeing them in the wild was just so awesome. Especially the size of those males!
