Why is Starbucks so expensive?

What do you mean by savings for Starbucks? I also love Starbucks. A couple of years ago, I thought it was overrated. That people were just wasting their money on some coffee. But then I started working and my boyfriend loves Starbucks so he kept on bringing me there - then I liked it! Now I'm just as addicted. Although I still try to keep him away from it if I could just so we could save a few :) Starbucks is pretty expensive because it's not the same as some coffee stores who buy coffee from places where they don't even pay their farmers minimum wage - so it's not really forced labor, but they're not receiving enough. Also, they pay their employees quite well :) And have you noticed how polite they are? They get the best training that Starbucks management can offer and training means expenses :)

I think they are so expensive because they know they can be!

I do not know why they are so expensive. It is only coffee. I can not see myself paying 5 bucks for a cup of coffee when I can just fix me some at home.
