starting new discussion....

I did not get any new ideas to start a new discussions I mostly respond to the posting and I rarely on mylott. After so many days I on mylot today. I have posted 5 or 6 posting . Happy posting and have nice day.

Upto now i have had very few discussions to my credit. The reason is that having surveyed most discussions i found that 90% of them were meaningless, posted by others. I do not want to post discussions just for the sake of making money. I am not getting any ideas so i prefer to just respond even if i do not earn much.

Well, a lot of the time in here, I will spend more time responding back to others more than starting a New discussion. I find myself a lot of the time having a really hard time finding something to start a New discussion, and since you can earn a lot just from responding back to others that is what I choose to do most of the time as well. But when I do start a New discussion in here, I will usually stick with things I am interested in, or feel are worthy of starting a New discussion in here as well. Sometimes it could be things going on in the World, or my life, or something I felt worth talking about in here as well.

I read newspapers and from time to time, I get a new Idea for a new discussion. When I end up with no more topics to write about, I wait for a couple of days and then something new turn up. I can not force new things to write about. I rather like to write when I have something new. I know the feeling, been there a couple of times. But, then suddenly I got a lot of stuff to turn in to new topics. It´s about the mood or the feelings You have when You write. Wait one day or two, it will turn around. Happy posting.

i like to look at news sites to see if i can find any interesting or weird news stories when i am out of ideas

There are so many ways to spark ideas for discussion. I notice on site some people just narrate their daily life, some talk about current issues, political, economic and social. There are also first time news like australia fire, english birth, chinese earthquake, etc. People in problems ask for solutions to issues like job hunting, frugal life, relationship, etc. They are not all interesting, but kindles discussion where we learn from others. Yes, hobbies, travels, and games are often topics to share experience, and joy to make our life happier.

you are on your 800+ but you are running out of discussion to start? hmmmm well then just surf around mylot and post some responses instead. dont tire yourself if there is nothing that comes to your mind right now. i start a discussion sometimes thrice a month or sometimes once a month. mostly on what i experience in or outside the house. or something i heard on tv or something that i am curius to ask about. i know you will think of something again just take your time and go around and response to others discussion for the mean time. goodluck kushan

I have never been one to start a lot of discussions...I will if i want to know something, or get advice, sometimes i need to share or vent, but i do not start many discussions...I answer more discussions , that i do anything else...

I start a new discussion when an idea for one occurs to me. It may be that I have multiple ideas in one day, or that I go several days without one. I don't try too hard to come up with a new discussion. I would rather post a well thought out one than to post several that are contrived. Don't worry, you just have a small case of writer's block.

I'm certainly not the most successful discussion maker to answer this, but I can tell you I get my ideas from day to day living, things I see on the news and on TV and books I read.

Hi ya KUSHANK55 Most of the discussions I start are usually about something I want to know and I need some help from my fellow mylotters. I also start them from daily experiences I have had or experiences from the past. Sometimes I start dicussions about things that have happened in the news that day or something I have seen on tv, but not very often. Look around you and watch the tv you will find your inspiration from unlikely places!!

Before starting a new discussion I try to find out new ideas.But when failed I usually response to discussions started by my friends and muLot members.My friends always get priority.

I pretty much post mostly here at night, after my kids are put to bed and fall asleep, so I will come up with a discussion usually based on something I seen on tv, or something that happened to me that day, or something that I heard through someone during the day... or while I am typing I may get an idea to start a discussion... sometimes they take and sometimes they dont....LOL happy mylotting!!
