In my school days, no computers yet being used here in our country, neither a com puter subject in schools. So when computers came in and Internet surfaced, I really don't have any idea about it. Not until when my son purchased a unit of pc, the story became differrent. An old woman at 53, I feel sickly and getting bored. When I learned however, surfing the net, everything has changed. Having online friends, writing blogs and comments, excite me and made me feel young, alive and kickin'. Much more when I started receiving online earnings, gaining more online friends, the time seems to be just starting and made me feel how wonderful the world is.How about you folks, How does internet affects you?

Hello bing. To be frank, the Internet affects me a lot in my life and work as well. There was no computer course when I was at school and college, even after many years of my work. I started to really touch computer after the year 2000. I was not good at typing at the very beginning and I did not know much about the use of the Internet back then. But anyway, practice makes perfect. I am now gaining more and more computer knowledge with my daily use of my laptop, which was bought a few years ago. The more I use it, the more I get to know about the computer and the Internet. The Internet is a mysterious world to me and attracts me a lot, without surfing the Internet each day, I feel lost. Take care and enjoy the Internet, friend.

Lucky for us who didn't have formal education with the computers but now joining others who have the full knowledge and enjoying the same. Happy knowing you in this mysterious world, William. Have a great week.

I find my day will be very bored without internet access. The internet really changes my life. Now I read news online, search for words that I don't understand online, seek information online, visit blogs and sites and the list goes on and on. To me, it is the greatest discovery of mankind. It unites people all over the world and makes lot of things possible. Before I have to go to the library to do research but with the internet, it has rendered the library a museum. No more visit to there from the day I have internet access.

Oh my gosh, Bing, I know exactly how you feel! I am a 35 year old woman who is raising my kids at home. Because of this, I don't have many opprotunities to have adult converstations unless I went to the grocery store. Fun. Online, I'm able to travel the world and speak to people in Sweden, England...and even to my boyfriend stationened in Iraq. What I love best about the internet, I can look up things and educate myself things like the story behind the Pleiades. My children can do their research and homework, we can share pictures to our friends and family! I LOVE being able to have a blog (MySpace) and write to people about what's going on in my life. It's even better when they write something back or even let us know what's going on with their corner of their world. Having friends online and the world at my fingertips makes me feel...as you said, "alive!" *Pleiades
