i read a lot of filipino inspiring stories of rags to riches and it really amazed me on how this people made it on top. one of them is a boy who use to sell candles and threads on the market every morning and goes to school using his old bike. who would ever think that he'll be the man behind robinsons, suncell, cebu pacific, etc. he is John Gokongwei.. another person that i admire is a gay who was once a helper in a beauty parlor. with his hard earned $22 he started his own beauty parlor business and now one of the most prestigious salon in the country today. Not to mention are the schools that he had established and organizations that he helps continously. he is Ricky Reyes. what do you think did they do to achieve all these?

Such are truly amazing and heartwarming stories. Maybe they succeed in life because they value hard work and perseverance. Aside from that, the know how to appreciate every little blessing that came their way. I always believe that if you are appreciative of the blessings no matter how small and insignificant they maybe to you, you will be thankful to the the Almighty One who gave that to you. And once you are thankful, you will make him happy and He will shower you more blessings at the end.
