I just saw on television that a California mother had 8 children at one time yesterday. They were all born within 5 minutes by C-section. Thats amazing, but simply crazy. It took 40 specialists to deliver and care for the babies. Do you think you could care for 8 newborns at one time? Would you keep them all together or give up a few for adoption?

I had a baby 7 weeks ago. I have a 5 year old daughter. And it is still a juggling act. Average cost to raise 1 kid to 18 is about $200,000. Multiplied by 8 I think I would sit down and have a good cry.

Personally I've thought the same thing. How in today's economic situation can any couple care for 8 kids let alone 8 infants at once. Just think of how they will be able to keep them fed, diapers changed, sleep, etc. and who is going to be around to help take care of them as well? Personally I cannot imagine what it will take and wonder if the New couple is really ready for this.
Nothing has really been said yet about the Mom and Dad of these babies, or nothing much else either, but since they are from CA, hopefully they are prepared and can do the job. But I wonder what their plans really are, and only time can tell.

Oh my gosh!I never heard this news. Of course I really wanted to have kids at this point in my life, that's why every child news really excite me. This is an amazing story, how she ever do that?well, if I am the mother of those cute 8 children, I would never never give up any one of them for adoption, I will take care of them because they are all blessings from God and they are special gifts!
