What is beautiful to you?

We talk about beauty several times and there are endless topics about it. We ll agree that internal beauty is more important than external beauty but in reality we usually choose and assess a person based on his/her external qualities. Does he/she dress well? Is he/she pretty or handsome? Does he /she speak well? Does he /she know how to project himself? These questions are all about the external. We know we have to look at the "soul" but we don't really do it. What about you? what is your concept of beauty? what's your take on this topic?

I would also go for inner beauty and inner soul, rather than outer cover. It is said that 'Looks could be deceptive'. I follow this quote. If I come across a fellow for the first time, natuarlly, her/his outer appearance will be guide to her/his personality and character. However, more I start getting closer to him/her, his/her inner self and 'traits' become more important to me. If the person has some positive traits and they match with mine, I extend my hand for friendship and strengthen my realtionship with him/her, on the other hand, if I find that the person is a mysterious one and showing some kind of 'attitude' to me, I just withdraw myself away from that person. If I start admiring a person, I see his/her overall qualities and traits, in that case her/his outer appearance becomes secondary to me. Good post.

Beauty! It is difficult to develop a rationalized gauge for measuring beauty! For me, beauty somehow relates to confidence, personality and uniqueness of an individual. Anyone, who prefers to pave a different trajectory in his/her own style, and towards the welfare of the society, is beautiful!

I do think you need to keep yourself looking good in order for people to really see the inner beauty or they won't take you seriously! If you don't respect yourself you don't take care of yourself...and that is part of what's inside. But inner beauty is the most important part of you....how you treat people....all your actions emit the inner beauty.....

To me my childern are beautiful. Why? because they are still innocent and pure. They dont have bad thoughts, or lie, or decite. Honesty and loyalty are beautiful to me. And the only people who are true to this are childern. So my babies are beautiful.
