Yup, after 26 years of living with me my wife still wants to hold my hand, even in public. She even still likes to kiss me in public, if I shave. :) How about you. How long have you been married, to the same person, and do you still get romantic in public?

I have been married to my husband for less than a year so yes we are still romantic in public. :) I'm so happy for you two...26 years is no small accomplishment. Especially with the pressures of this modern world.

That's SO sweet! I'm not married yet, but my fiance and I have been together for four years. I know that's nothing compared to your relationship, but his Grandparents have really shown us how to BE married. His Grandmother is 88 and his Grandfather is 93 - they're the cutest couple EVER. They still hold hands when they walk (even though it's very slow and unsteady), they put their hands on each other's knees when sitting next to each other, they kiss each other on the cheeks ALL the time, and they look at each other with admiration when they think no one else is looking. They've been together since their early 20's and it doesn't look like they've lost a single spark. It's so sweet!

See we are practicing now so that when we get that old we can hold each other up while we walk. Grandparents can be so cute. I sure hope their marriage lasts. :)

It's good to keep the feelings of newness in a relationship. My husband and I still hold hands, we have been married for nine years. this is my second marriage, my first marriage only lasted five and a half years. We are always together, when people see one, nine times out of ten they will see the other. I am very happy with my second marriage.

I am glad to hear you are in-separable. I have a friend I play guitar with who never lasted a full year in his first marriage but finally met someone after 10 years of being single. They to are inseparable.

Well I wasn't sure how it would go after the first time she shoved an ice cream cone in my face. :) But we survived that and are doing great.
