The date was Oct 30, 2006. It was a beautiful warm day so I opened all my windows in my lovely little 3 bedroom home and spent my day happily preparing to go to work. I worked 2nd shift. I decided that as I left home I would leave the windows open for my hubby and kitty cat Tiger (tye) to enjoy the warm weather as I had enjoyed all day. I kissed my hubby goodbye and asked him to go pick up my seat covers for my new car for me at Walmart. I rubbed my loyal cat and walked out to my car to go to work. I looked back as I topped the rise as I did many days and waved goodbye. Little did I know that would be the last time I ever saw my home or ever petted my cat. My home burned that evening. A total loss. Nothing could be salvaged. I hoped and prayed my cat had made it out through a window screen the one in the PC room was loose. Did he make it out? I honestly think so because I believe I have seen him nearby since that dreadful night. I even stopped my car once and called to him hoping he would come to me but of course it takes a long time to tame a cat and only a few days for them to revert to the wild. The cat would not come to me so I could not be for 100% certain it was him but my eyes and heart tells me it was. Yes, I miss my cat. I have looked for a replacement and found a cat I really love named Coco but she can not replace the first cat I ever really loved, Tye. My cousin told me that night that the way I was acting you would have thought I had lost a family member which luckily I did not, well the human kind of family member that is. In truth losing Tye did feel like losing a family member. He was there every night when I came home from working waiting for me loyaly on the back of the couch. Many nights he was the only face I saw awake. Cat or not he was converstaion. Many days when I felt down and out he was there to cuddle and comfort me. His little furry face many mornings was the first I saw as he awoke me for the day. I cared a lot for that gray and black stripped cat and I still miss him.

I had not lost a cat but I had lost my lovely dog. This is a thing for a long time ago.my dear dog is not only a pet for me but also a partner.when I was young,I am very timid, but the dog give me courage every time, especially when it gets dark. After I lost him,I am very sad and cried many times. From then on ,I won't keep dog anymore, because I cannot stand to lose them again
