My favorite island is Saint Martin what is yours?

I also think there is something special about tropical islands and have been to many of these. I simply love islands with palm fringed beaches and an off shore reef for snorkeling. I have been to St Lucia, the Seychelles, the Maldives, Samoa, French Polynesia, the Cook Islands and Fiji. I have been to lots of the islands off the coast of Queensland in Australia. I went Samoa and totally fell in love with it. My favorite island is one of the ones there. It has waterfalls, palm fringed beaches, friendly people and interesting culture as well as history.

My favorite island is iceland where i have gone some ten years back.I had a nice time there.I just love the climate.Since it is different from my own country,i do not want to come out from there.I have several dream islands as well.The first one that i would like to visit and i have never visited is Greenland and am collecting pictures of them too and next i would like to visit papua new guinea,i do not know anything about it but would like to visit.

I've only ever been to Cape Cod in Massachusetts. I've also been to Manhattan Island but that's not your typical Island. I would like to go see Hawaii some day. Although I suspect that Manhattan will always be my favorite Island. Until Global Warming swallows it up [but that's a different subject].

I've never been to any of the islands that you've visited. It's hard for me to pick out my favorite island because those that I have visited are so different in character. I've been to the islands of Oahu, Maui, Kauai and the big island of Hawaii and of those my favorite is the big island. I love hiking in and around the volcano. I've traveled to the Bahamas and to Vancouver Island in Canada. I loved the Bahamas because the water is so warm and crystal clear. Vancouver Island has all of the charm of Victoria along with wild rugged places to hike and great stretches of beaches but the islands that I go back to over and over again are the San Juan Islands in Washington state. Orcas is my favorite island. Lots of hiking and not quite as laid back as Lopez but more laid back than San Juan Island. Almost forgot Nantucket and Catalina. Both charming in their own right. This summer, I would love to visit the islands in the Canadian Atlantic maritime provinces.
