Have you ever had an occasion as a parent when your children will actually laugh at you while you are yelling at them or scolding them? Do you find that quite frustrating? Sometimes my son will laugh or smile as if he does not really get the fact that I am angry.

Last night my son hit my nose and caused it to bleed. I was sitting there crying while he was laughing. He didn't understand though. He is only two.

Thanks for replying to another one of my discussions. I realize that children probably don't always get that they caused harm to someone and don't know the proper way to respond but only to laugh!

Some kids (and adults as well) tend to laugh when they get embaressed so it might be that.

My son does not laugh when I am yelliing at him for something, but he will laugh while I am getting on his little sisters case about something. When I tell him to quit laughing that it is not funny he just laughs harder and gets himself in trouble too.
