It's that time of year again! If you get a refund, you are probably getting excited for some extra money. If you pay in, probably not......
Do you do your taxes yourself or pay somebody? I have always done mine myself and I do a lot of other people's too! Gives me a chance to make a few extra pennies!
Do you usually get a refund or pay in? On the years I claim my daughter, I get a refund. The years my ex claims her, I break pretty even.
How about you?

We usually buy the H&R Block tax software and do it ourselves, it saves a bit of money.
With 5 kids, we usually get a large refund. It's been over $5,000 for federal, and over $1,000 for state in past years.
This year we're using the money to move. We're already looking at places.

I usually do mine myself. One year I went to HR block, and thought that I would get a refund. I paid them over four hundred dollars, and still owed taxes. I decided, that I would rather do them myself, if I am going to have to pay, rather than spend so much money and still do not get a break. I export my files from the previous year, and do them myself.

I usually get around $300 CAD as a refund, and I usually end up saving it for something I may need during the next year. I am definitely looking forward to my refund. I can't wait to get my hands on a little bit of extra money. That will be nice.

H&R Block has done our taxes for the past 15yrs. but this year, not sure. We always got alot back in our refund but don't know about this year being hubby lost his job last Sept. and hasn't found anything steady yet.

I have always done my own because of no extra things to worry about, deductions and such.
It will be different next year as I've quit my paying job and will need to use all my online income to file. I won't have any choice but to pay someone to do them for me.
I always get the earned income credit, but next year only for one child instead of 2.
Mine has come in and been spent this year.
Marsha
