I entered a debate today on another site about good versus evil. If you were trying to illustrate evil, who would you use as your embodiment of evil? Why?

Of course I would identify Satan himself as the Father of lies, the one who seeks to destroy, despite his coming on as angelic at times. So to illustrate evil, I would have to identify the enemy as evil, the devil, the one who is known for destruction of lives and relationships.

Boy Jellen, you really went right to the top on this one, or the bottom!

Well, there is no such thing as grey area when it comes to evil. The enemy must be recognized as an adversary. We can't play around with just a little bit of evil, we can't just step a toe into it, or we will find ourselves caved-in by it. And that's how I feel about our adversary the Devil -- source of evil, tempter of mankind.
