about cars and airconditioners and lifestyles

hiya all! cars and airconditioners are not that easy to come by in our country. instead of being items necessity, they are a bit of a luxury to people here. so if your family has a car, especially a relatively new one, you are part of the upper middle class already. or something like that, i know you get the picture. anyway, we are a big family, or at least a household, literally and figuratively speaking. this is because, i live with my in-laws. so there are my parents in law, my husband and myself, his newlywed brother and his wife, his other brother with wife and child, and an unmarried sister. all in all, we have five cars in the house, so much so that the three cars are parked outside because only two can fit in the garage. and we have four airconditioners for the four bedrooms. probably people might say that we are rich. but we are not. we are all in debt. but we can just afford some luxuries that is all. and like for my husband and myself, our car is a necessity because we use it for our part time business. anyway, how about you? how many cars do your family have? don't feel bad, this is not a status discussion. just wanted to know your thoughts on this. take care all and God bless you! happy mylotting!
