Have you ever experienced racism?

I am white but I am respectful to all different colors. I am very keen on traveling. At college I had a friend, his mother was white and his dad was black. He said that he wouldn't go to Australia because someone told him there are lots of racists there. I chatted to a man in Australia that went dark after sunbathing. He told me if people thought he was black he would have quite harsh treatment. My driving instructor told me about his nephew. Because he is black if he is waiting for a friend people imagine he is about to burgle a place. I think racism is horrible and I like to see respect for all.
