Not Interested....***

I think those two words combined constitutes the worst fears of a sales man. Can you imagine talking your heart and soul out about the produt or services you are offering only for those two words to bring your hopes crashing down around you. I usually try to be civil towards sales people (some can be quite pesky though) even if I am not interested in their offers. I have seen some people go the extra mile to be nasty. Guess some of us feel its necessary to exploit a little power once we get the chance. I think sales is one of the hardest jobs there is and people try too hard to look down on sales people. HELLO... I mean come on... These people are trying to earn a honest living by getting up off their butts and taking to us goods and services that we would otherwise have to search and find on our own. There is so much many of us would not be aware of had it not been for the salesman. I did a bit off this sales thing once and I really dont like it. It is on my list of Top Jobs I Dont Ever Want To Do. So how do you treat the salesman or woman? Do you try your best to make them feel small? Is sales a job that you would want to do... especially like door to door sales? Are you a sales person or have you done this job before? Maybe "Not Interested" would not affect you much (certainly seems to have no bearing on some sales persons). What would be the worst thing someone could do to or say to you if you were a sales person?
