hello dong,
wow! nice topic! This is a good way of letting younger generations know that our folksongs still exist and are still good to listen to.
I still listen to folksongs from time to time. And I sometimes sing or hum some of the simple ones especially when I'm busy cleaning my room or doing something.
my choirmates also sang these songs on some events at the church or sometimes when we just get together at their places to catch up on each others activities or on bleh gossips and stuff hahaha... they even sing them when they are having a drinking session to have fun and at the same time practise singing too lol
I love new songs but I still have these nostalgic happy feelings whenever I hear our traditional songs ^_^

^_^ Mabuhay ka!.... dong1970!....
I love listening to classic Filipino Folk songs especially those Kundiman styles. I wished instead of modern or foreign music the government should imposed that all public utility vehicles like jeepneys, taxi, motor rails, and public establishments to play the music of Filipino Folk or Kundiman only. Or the like tunes and music style.
^_^ Salamat!.... and Enjoy!....

Well, I'm not a fan of Filipino folksongs but I am a fan of Filipino religious songs. They're really harmonious to listen to and it really uplifts a person's spirit.

i dont have an outlet to listen to filipino folk songs, even the radio stations do not even play it anymore, so i just play it myself on the guitar when i feel like it. i like visayan folk songs like 'usahay'.

Sometimes especially during Sundays
I guess its good to listen to those kind of songs ones in a while.

I love kundiman songs. We still have those songs in our school because students would sing them during the Filipino month celebration and that's every year.
They love doing duets of folk songs specially that comic folk song "Pahaluka ko day"
.
