My daughter tried to poke the eyes of her classmate today

They say that to be a great mom, you need to have alot of effort.. I guess I am doing that already but since I lack of with something.. I was 19 when I got married but I did finished my school, and having a stable life right now.. I am 24 and have a 5year old daughter whose in her pre-school year... She said she hated her classmate who was sitting beside her, so she tried to poke her classmate's eyes.. good heavens, nothing happened.. Her teacher saw what's going on.. I scolded my daughter and told her alot of things that might happen if she ever did that... She's watching cartoons nowadays, but I couldn't guide her for I am doing things at home, and my jobs at home... So, I am worrying alot of what will happen the next time she'll think about that.. how can I explain better about this? please help.. thanks^^

I am not really sure if I will give you any good advice, and I definitely don't mean to insult you, but if you can find out when television shows for her age group come on and have the t.v. on them when she is watching them I think that that would help. If she knows how to use the Remote Control for the t.v. put it somewhere she can't reach it.
