I'm quite confused with my situation right now. Ok, I'll start this way... I'm an accounting graduate, modesty aside, I've graduated with flying color. Despite of my edge in this field of expertise, I didn't make it to get my CPA license. I've tried taking the board for 2 times in a row. You guys might been wondering why. Actually, I really don't know the exact reason but I can cite some reasons which I think made me out of focus during my review proper. First, our liquidity problem. We don't have that enough money because of too many idle investments. Well, I know that situation is not that bad after all because we have properties that we can sell. But the point is no one wants to buy it because earning for a living is very hard nowadays. As we all know, we're experiencing financial crisis since then and its getting even worst right now, that's why it's better to be practical. In short, I want to work so that I can help my family but my dad told me to finish first my review and be a CPA. Second, is that I wanted to pursue my dream to become an engineer. I want to become a CPA-ENGINEER someday. Creating miniature houses and structures is my passion. Well for the first reason, obviously, what I really want contradicted my dad's plan. In the case, I'm not sure if I only made some rebellious act, like not focusing in my studies, to prove to him that he's wrong. If that's really the reason, I just pushed myself in a very bad situation. Considering the fact that I usually think about our money problems plus my confusion to become an engineer. Now the problem is that will I pursue my accounting career or take up engineering course? Because, up to now, I'm still building my confidence after my bad experiences in taking up my board exam. For the engineering side, I'm afraid of failing for the second time. I open up this situation of mine to get some helpful responses from other mylotters here. As far as I can see, most of the members here are professionals and older than me. Admittedly, more experienced person than I am. Obviously, in my age, I'm just starting my real world journey. I hope somebody can give some insights about the situation. Sorry for the long discussion. Thank you in advance!
