Do you suffer from night terrors? Night terrors are not like nightmares in the fact that you respond to the bad dream and move (sleep walking, swinging, hitting) and speak eventhough you are not awake. Scary for the person sleeping next to you, but for the most part, you have no recollection of the experience.
I take a medication that causes night terrors, I remember the dreams but not the things that I do while having the dream. Last night I had another one, I remember waking up screaming at the top of lungs and swinging. Then my husband covering my mouth, pushed me back down on the bed and told me to just stop and rolled over and went back to sleep.
The next thing I remember is waking up and looking at the clock 12:33 am and my throat hurt, presumably from screaming. I can't tell you what made me scream, I can't remember it.
I ask my husband this morning what happened and he said I woke up screaming and he rubbed my back and told me everything was going to be OK. I told him what I remembered and he said, "That just didn't happen". Since I don't normally remember the night terror itself, I figured that my dream husbands mean act was part of the terror.
Do you get night terrors? How do you deal with them?

nope I don't think that I get them but I do know that sometime I toss and turn alot and sometimes I have been known to talk in my sleep ..My boyfriend says that I sometimes respond with a whole conversation to him while I'm sleeping ... grrrr I hate that. Because I don't remember it at all.
