If you burned a meal and it turns out that it is getting late in the day, do you just opt to start all over again or just go ahead and order something. I think that I would wind up just making something else or order something.

Hi bamakelly and thank you for your discussion. As to me, if I burn it bad enough, I'll start all over.

I would probably have to order something. I keep all my meat frozen because I am always so paranoid of meat going bad and I buy all my meat for about week, sometimes more, and freeze it. (My mom was notorious for letting meat go bad in the refrigerator...she was notorious for letting almost everything go bad in the fridge, come to think of it.) If I burned something, which I haven't done in years, I wouldn't have any meat thawed to cook so I would probably have to order out. I don't really keep any "quick" meals around anymore, so I couldn't do something like that. I guess if I was desperate, I would make eggs and toast or something.

If I burnt a meal( very rare for me considering I just don't cook much) I would still eat it. If I made it, then I am going to eat it. And, let me tell you...burnt butter beans...yuck!

I would just throw it out and order something else. I have burnt dinner before and that's what we did. But if we where low on funds I would just cook something simple and quick maybe a frozen dinner.
