Should Pacquiao unify the Lightweight belts?

This has got me wondering for a while now. Pacquiao still has the WBC Lightweight title and he keeps on paying the sanction fees for him not defending the title because he intends to keep it ( De La Hoya, Hatton) which I don't get because with the way things are going I don't think he plans to go back to that weight level so why keep it? I actually want him to go back to lightweight and unify all the belts since only one person has the other 3 anyway (Nate Campbell WBA/IBF/WBO) and I don't think that guy is going to refuse Manny if he wanted to unify all 4 ( that's going to be a big payday for campbell provided he beats his nex opponent) What do you think?

Not really! its just a waste a time. Many people know that manny is the best in the lightweight division. He doesnt need a campbell on his resume. He better fight the top guys on boxing like Hatton and Mayweather. If he beats those two then it would cement his legacy as the best pound for pound fighter in the world. No more doubts from people, and theres no really accomplishment if he unifies the lightweight belt because the other champs are not that great compared to him.

I get you point and I know he should be fighting more top level fighters. It's just that I haven't really seen him hold more than 1 belt at a time, I know that's not the measurement of how great a fighter is but it would be really nice to see him have more than one belt or a belt other than the WBC (he held this belt in flyweight, superfeatherweight and lightweight, his other title superbantamweight was IBF)

Nate campbell is all mouth. I want to see the pacman blow this pretender to smeethrins. His win over Diaz was a one time deal, He took advatage of diaz's lack of experience and cash out on it. Manny could unify the belts but the money is in the higher weight class, Hatton and (possibly) mayweather in in the horizon for the megafights with the mega payouts.
