Do you like to put on an air that you are happy all of the time. I don't like to do that but if I am upset about something I don't always like to show too much of my emotions.

I've heard that if you smile a while chemicals in the brain are released and pretty soon you are happy. I guess the brain feels you smiling and says to it's self hay we are suppose to be releasing this chemical since the body is showing happiness. I don't know how long you have to smile before this happens

I try doing the "mind over matter" thing when it comes to happiness. If I believe in my mind that I'm happy, then it's easier for me to "be" happy. Yes, there are days when this is difficult because something has happened to anger or sadden me. However, I try to get over these difficulties quickly by doing the "mind over matter" thing because, when it comes right down to it, I want to be happy everyday. I've found that I tend to set the mood for the household, which is both scary and weird. If I wake up grumpy, the six others in the family seem to be grouchy and in dark moods. However, if I wake up and say "good morning" to everyone in a happy, sing-song manner, then they all seem to be smiley and in great moods. Isn't that interesting? Trust me, there are some mornings I would rather not do this because I'm sick or didn't sleep well. LOL
