How Do You Solve This?

This is one of the questions that I had to answer during one of my job interviews sessions. [i]You are in a closed room with three switches. The three switches will turn on three light bulbs in another closed room and you are not able to see which switch will turn on which light bulb from your room. You are allowed to turn the switches on and off for as many time as you like but you can only open and enter the room with the three bulbs ONCE and once you have done that, you need to identify which switch would turn on which light bulb.[/i] I was given one minute to come up with the answer to this question and I managed to give them an answer. However, since they did not tell me whether my answer is right or wrong, I would like to ask you to give me your answers so that I could compare to my answer.
