I can't kiss my hubby!

My hubby is taking a nap. With a newborn, and a daughter with a nightly cough, sleep is rare. I went into the bedroom to give him a kiss. The dog was sleeping on his side of the bed on the floor. When I bent over she got between me and him. She was grunting and whining. I gave up and started laughing. I left the room. Pretty sure hubby is back to sleep by now. How jealous does your pet get?

LOL.... You can kiss both. i dont mind kissing my pet. If your dog is clean and healthy I am not afraid of kissing the dog). Right now my puppy is doing exactly the same thing. She is jumping on my lap and kissing me on my face. She is bonding especially with my son and I am really glad about that.

Ah, I think you just need to let that female dog know which female dog is in charge in your house. Humorous, of course, but the dog really needs to know her place, too.

Our dogs do the same thing. When my mom or dad is sleeping our one jack russell will lay at their feet and any time someone tries to even walk past she will growl and sometimes she has lunged at me. Not really attacking me but kind of like telling me to leave them alone. It makes me laugh.

my schnauzer einstein and shih tzu max show jealousy in different ways. einstein gets jealous whenever i call max or snuggle max, even if me and my husband are talking and laughing in the couch. he gets to us, licking us, wanting to be part of the action so to speak. meanwhile max gives me this pity stare whenever i snuggle einstein. when called he tries to get away and then stares at us. hehehe he gets emotional sometimes!

Hello ersmommy. It is jealousy of the pet dog and interesting of him. It is really a hard job of yours to raise the small baby of yours. I wish you to take good care of yourself, my dear friend.

We had dogs that were jealous of each other and competed for my daughters attention. It was cute. They would butt in front of each other to see who would get pet first.
