Okay, mylot friends and community online lovers, today is my wife and I's 9th year anniversary. At 1:05pm today, 9 years ago, is when our wedding ceremony started. Talk about a good memory right? Anyway, I'd like to thank those who offered me suggestions on what I should do for the love of my life on our special day. I just wanted you guys to know what the final outcome of today is planned. ***I took the day off of work!*** I didn't tell her until last night. 1. I made her favorite bowl of healthy cereal for breakfast. 2. I made her a fresh fruit salad that consist of cherries, oranges and apples. ~ I even peeled the skin off the oranges, cut the skin off the apples and took the seeds out of the cherries. (This salad was for her snack at her 1/2 day SPA treatment.) 3. I took care of our 3 kids breakfast, lunch and dinner. 4. I arranged for a baby sitter to come sit with the kids, later today. 5. I arranged for us to be chauffeured to her favorite restaurant later today. 6. After dinner out, we will watch a movie at home together, while we cuddle amongst other things. So, how did I do? She was pleasantly surprised to learn I had taken care of all of the details so well. So, when I see her later today, she'll have a fresh manicure and pedicure (hopefully with a hot red color, on her toes). Or the regular French pedicure is fine. She knows how much I love looking at her nails done. What did you do for your wedding anniversary sweetheart?

Well congrats! I really hope that I can make it. We have only been married about a year and a half. Although in April it will be 4 years together. It just seems like we have so many problems. He said marriages are like that I don't think they have to be. I am so tired of arguing and making up I am sick to my stomach.

Well congrats! Thanks so much baileycows, I appreciate the sentiment. I really hope that I can make it. We have only been married about a year and a half. Although in April it will be 4 years together. It just seems like we have so many problems. He said marriages are like that I don't think they have to be. I am so tired of arguing and making up I am sick to my stomach. It is most important that the two of you are able to come into agreement and do everything possible to maintain that agreement. Even if you both have differences on a particular subject, then agree to disagree, drop that subject for a period of time until such a time that you both can come together peacefully.

What a special anniversary plan! Congrats to you both! Sounds like you did a pretty good job for surprising your wife like that. Ever since we had our children, we've never done anything really special. Well we will go out for a nice dinner than come home. We never really had a babysitter but this year will be different. I'm hoping that we can go to San Antonio and rent a nice hotel and spend the day site seeing and just spending some alone time together. Ours is in July so we have no excuses this year, still have alot of time to plan it out.

Planning ahead definitely helps a great deal. Start setting monies aside now and make a quality decision not to use it for anything other than the intended use. That's what I did with the earnings online that I made.

If you don't win husband of the year, then I don't know who should. That is wonderful! Nine years and you still treat her like a queen. It's always nice to hear about solid marriages. My parents have beem married 33 years, 34 in August, and I've only seen their marriage get better. It didn't start out solid or so I'm told, but I think even at their young age, as they grew in God, they grew to respect and love each other more.

You know it's like a triangle, where God is at the top of the triangle point and the bride and groom are at the base of it one on either side. As they reach toward God more, then the stronger, they become.

I think that you have done an exceptional job at pampering her on your 9th anniversary.. Good job and congrats on the 9th year.. I think there are many women who would love to have a husband put all of this thought and work into the details of making it a special day.. Good going on your part, she will be so pleased.. We have a 41st coming up in May and I believe I will have my husband read this post and take notes for when May 6th gets here.. Good job HD..

My wife and I both shared a laugh at this response. I'm just glad I could encourage or inspire someone to by doing what I've always wanted to do what's in my heart for the love of my life. Thanks so much, I'll have to remember May 6th. And many many more for you guys as well.
