Is mylot all about "Discussions"?

Well I started mylot-ing almost 2 weeks back and from then an either starting a discussion or replying to others and have earned a bare minimum of $ 0.4 (approx).
It seems to be a never ending process to be frank sometimes tiresome and boring. It's sometimes staring stupid discussions and answering some.
Does this really help. Anyway of earning a little faster here (apart from referrals)?

Anymore I just people posting random non-sense here on mylot. they think it is a way for a quick buck, but if your looking to make money online and you have lots of time and no money, mylot is a great place.
Though I do not see how anybody could think they could make a full time income from this site, I enjoy posting here and the money is a nice bonus.

add a ton of interests to your 'interest' section, then respond only to discussions from your interest categories or your friends. they tend to be from people who truly wish to make money, not just type away nonsensically. its really about quality over quantity. if you post 1,000 oneline answers and random discussion that you really dont care about, then you wont make much money. if you start quality discussions and have interactions with people, rather than one to two word answers, you will see an increase in your earnings.
but it has to make sense, dont be like that guy above. his posting doens't even make sense, so he wont get much credit for it at all.
