You know when my kids don't listen or misbehave in public,i might get irritated but after i get mad or give them a time out life goes on and that's that!.Well i told my son today that i was disappointed in him for not following the rules at school and i upset him really bad...i feel terrible too but i was disappointed and i told him, there was really no punishment for his behavior,Than i remember when my mom use to said that to me and it would kill me that i was disappointing her so than i understand why my son was so sad.I had a talk with him and it's all good now.Can you remember something you mom would said to you and you've use it on your kids only to feel terrible after?

No, I don't remember having this sort of discussion with my mother. Though I am sure it happened. I have had a similar talk with my daughter. And it had about the same effect. I felt a bit sad, but things did improve some after it.
