You have just met your first alien.

What would you do? I'm not talking illegal aliens here. I'm talking the bona fide, came in a space ship type alien. What would you do?
I think it would depend on what it did. If it started chasing me, I'd probably find the first kind of weapon and try to kill it. But what if it's a cute, teddy bear looking thing? Would you give it a chance to get closer?
What if it's a huge, fang-faced, nasty looking thing? Even if it came in peace, made no threatening moves, would you automatically suspect it? Run?

I would be rather curious about it. If it's not carrying anything that looks like a weapon held in a hostile way, I wouldn't mind approaching it non-threateningly. I can't speak to it, but I would try and show that I don't want to hurt it. I would also give the alien a chance to get closer and if it was really cute have to resist the urge to hug it :D It if was ugly as hell, I still wouldn't mind it getting close to me if it wasn't trying to hurt me. After all you can't judge a book by its cover.

You're another brave one! I remember being brave... It was far too long ago... You'd even stand your ground if it had fangs? Fangs bug me. A lot!

I think that I would act stupid until I knew what the Alien's purpose was here. Although I am not sure of the credibility of people's accounts with aliens, I would not want to be studied in ways similar to that which they describe in their reports. I wouldn't want to seem like something that they would want to study, because it could be painful and life-threatening. I think I would, for the most part, want to stay out of the spotlight if I were to encounter an alien.

True enough. The thought of being on a table being studied is terrifying. I wasn't going that far in thinking. I was just thinking of the immediate reaction. Thinking that far ahead would guarantee I wouldn't want to be near one!

Funny question! :D Well if I saw an Alien, I would treat it/him/her with respect just as long as it did Not bother me or tried to "PROBE" me Southpark style. :) And if it was mean, I'd get the Weekly World New's "BAT BOY" to attack it right back! :D Granted, I really do believe that with so many galaxies & planets out there in the universe, their very well be some so call Alien life out there, bith I think it's only in the form of Bacteria or plant life. Thanks for asking! :D

Ya see, I know from experience that the cuter and more innocent looking something is, the more dangerous it usually is. Cute things cause destruction. I know of the Aliens of which you speak, this is a device used to earn the trust of humans. A word of advise, their eyeballs will blow up if you play celine dion CD's.
I think if I were to encounter such a nasty lookin alien that did nottry and kill me, I would want to talk to it, who wouldnt want to be able to say they spoke to an alien?

Oh my snowcat! I would wet my pants..lol...seriously though it would depend on what it did. If it started coming at me quick I would get out of dodge! I don't think I would be very open minded at first. I'm a little funny about some animals much less an alien freaky fang looking thing. Goats make me nervous.lol..I'm ok until they look at me..then I get a little uncomfortable. I couldn't imagine an alien staring me down. Interesting discussion!

Thanks! I'm really big on the what if's of life. I just love looking at these ideas and wondering. Fangs are a big no-no in my world! Shiver, shiver... I used to be pretty open-minded, but not anymore.
You only gotta worry about female goats if they start looking at what you're drinking. They love stealing. Male goats with horns suck!! Or jab, to be realistic.

My curiosity would surely get the better of me, and I'd have to approach it. I'd try to figure out a way to communicate, then ask about the trip here, its home planet and secrets of the Universe I never knew before. I hope it wouldn't be too ugly, and especially that it wouldn't smell terrible! If it werre at all aggressive, though, I'd run like crazy.

I'd greet him with a bucket of Kentucky Fried Chicken, an armful of ragweed, wearing my platform heels, Elton John sunglasses and liptstick! If that didn't scare him back into his spaceship and leave never to return, I'd take him home to mother. She'd make short work of him for sure, for sure! ROFL

I don't believe there are either. But when I was a teenager, I used to want it to be true so much. I'd sit and look at the stars and just hurt inside, I wanted it to be true so much. I think I considered it a way to escape from life here.

First I would cautiously approach it no matter how it looks. Remember that demons come in sheep's clothing...lol...Then probably determine or ask it the purpose of the visit. But I would definitely be wary and would suspect its every move. I will keep my distance until I have proven that it intends no harm. Cheers and happy mylotting.

Lol good question. I would probably run for my life no matter what. Until someone else came back and told me they came in peace. Especially if they were cute and cuddly, I would run like heck. The cuter they are the more they are gonna try to kill us, is my opinion.
If one came after me I'd do whatever it was I needed to do to kill it, I'd prolly lose but hey at least I got to see a bona fide alien. Lol.

I like how you think, L! I think I'd have approached it when I was younger. (And could still run like crazy...) Now, it takes me so long to move, I'd just start right off!

I think every alien would be confused and listless after setting foot on earth. I wouldn't let it to be taken away for scientific experiments. I'd take the alien home and make a friend out of it and get some of its super powers. I would then use it like a superhero :)

Contrary to popular opinion, there are many who believe that aliens are here with us, always. I have not seen one myself but I have talked to a number who swear by them and their space ships. I just don't see the relevance of aliens to my own personal life. Cheers!!

Are you sure? Maybe all of us here are aliens... (I'm sure I'm pretty far out there!)
