Are the blue collar jobs high paying in your country?

Here in the Philippines, it's not. The dirtiest work such as janitorial, messengerial, and similar jobs are the hardest yet the lowest paying jobs in the country. I was never employed as such but judging from the people who I see as employed on those jobs, their lives are not progressing at all. I've heard on some other countries, it's the opposite. The most dirtiest job are the higher paying jobs. I also watch The Dirtiest Jobs in cable and it features the dirtiest but interesting jobs in other countries.

I think most of the blue collar jobs in this area are pretty high paying but I dont know about all of them. I dont really know too many blue collar workers that I could ask about that. alot of them are skilled jobs which tend to pay pretty well for the most part. I guess if I needed to I would be working in one also.

I'm in China, so things are similar. Blue collars are paid low except that few jobs paid high. I guess in European countries where no one like to do such job, blue collars get higher pay.
