Now and Laters

I have had these candies before I dont really like them. I guess that some people might like them but they are not for me. I dont like any candy that is sticky like that except for sugar daddy's. They are the exception they are pretty good. I like to try differnt kinds of candy but not like sticky ones like this.

I used to buy them in the vending machine at the school cafeteria. I've seen them around it seems forever. Unlike a lot of childhood candy, I can actually still find Now and Laters. They would always get stuck in my teeth though. And if I ate too many I couldn't get the sour taste off my tongue. : )

I loved now and laters and I also havent had them in a very long time. They were one of my favorite candies as a child. I want some now.

I used to love Now and Laters. I love taffy in general. The banana were my favorite, followed closely by the grape. I liked them because they had alot of flavor and they lasted a loooong time, and the flavor last all the way until the end. Now unfortunately my teeth and fillings don't tolerate Now And Laters like they used to, but I'll still cave if I can find me some freash salt water taffy. On a similar note, remember jawbreakers and lemonheads and pop rocks(ahhh, the memories)? Has your son tried these yet?

Now and Laters are pretty good. I like how they last longer than most candies, too (hence the name I guess). They start out hard and chewy, and end up soft and kind of tangy, but still sweet. They taste great.

Arent there two versions of this? Hard crystal candy and taffy? I havent seen the hard candy ones in years the taffy ones are floating about though. Heh, they are over due for a come back.

I remember now and laters. I used to like the banana flavor ones. Even though I do not like the fruit itself, I love the flavor of banana. Yeah, banana now and laters were my favorite. There was a green one too, I think it was some kind of mint flavor. I do not eat much candy now, but you have me thinking about now and laters.

No, I don't think I remember them but, the one's I miss is Black-Jack chewing gum, and rock candy, sassafras, horehounds, and those little hard dots on paper in different colors. Wax bottle's with the liquid inside. Those are some that I miss and they are hard to come by. Every once in a while I will come across one and grab it. I wish they would bring back those and get rid of some of the very sugary junk they do have now! ** Peace and Love get's you through everything in Life **
