do you use myLot to stimulate your creative juices in other venues?

I do. Last night, for example, I got an idea from posts here about favorite fantasy creatures. Then, my friend Laura who was here working for me, told me all about the American crocodile and the fact that they're becoming less gender balanced (meaning there are more females than males) because of global warming. Eggs can only turn into males when the nest is at a certain temperature. Too high it's a girl, and too low it's a girl. So I've been thinking. What about merfolk? Suppose they could only reproduce mermen if the temperature was in a certain range. Suddenly, I had this crazy idea for a story about merpeople and global warming. It never would have happened without myLot and, of course, my brilliant friend. So what say you? Do you use myLot to spark your creativity or are you just here to earn a few cents, make some friends, etc? If any, what creative works has myLot inspired you to create?
