Face it, we're all geting older every day. But one day out of the year marks the day we entered into this world. What did you do for your last day of celebration? Did you have a party or was yours very small? Me, I had a nice birthday. My parents came over and my father presented to me a set of dinning silverwear that he had bought while he was in the Air Force some 50 years ago. It's from Siam, but that's now Thiland. I'm glad he gave it to me. So far, we've used it once. Whenever we have a special occiasion or a special guest over, we use it. *Pleiades

Hmmm.... let me see. I went to dinner with my family-parents and siblings. That's the first part of my celebration. The other part is another dinner with friends. Their schedule wouldn't meet up so I have decided to do it in two parts that time. Usually, I have one dinner party in a restaurant for friends and family- a group of 20 people or so.

It's interesting that I would stumble upon this discussion today, as this is my 27th birthday. Last year I turned 26 in Arizona, where my husband and I were living at the time. We had a nice lunch and a birthday cake at the local coffee shop. He made me a really nice Russian birthday dinner, too. This year we are back in my hometown in Canada. We are going to go to my favourite Greek restaurant for dinner, and to my favourite coffee shop for coffee. We're also going to go to the mall and raid a really good chocolate store there, that also sells caramel apples. YUMMY!
