Cannabalism- what are your thoughts?

So, I was watching the movie Doomsday the other night and there was this one part where the people who were hungry and didn't have anything to eat, ate a person by burning him alive, well technically barbecuing him. And the people just cut him up like a animal and started eating him.
I found that absolutely disgusting. I can't get that image out of my head. While I was running I almost puked cause I couldn't stop thinking about it.
So, what do you guys think about this. Are humans just like animals and should be eaten like them in certain situations?

Hi there killhawaii,
i remember of a story in a movie which the plane crash at snowy mountain and those people are trying to survive with eat meat from a friend, the friend before dying allowed the other friend to eat his flesh. It was so complete situation.
I wont do it if i'm there. Beside might be it's my time to die that way.

well thats another way to look at it.
honestly if it was my time to die then i would have figured to die in a better painless way.
