Stand By Me and other "coming-of-age" movies... Do you watch them too?

"Coming of age" is a young person's transition from adolescence to adulthood. I have watched a lot of coming-of-age movies in my lifetime. Now and Then, Stand By Me, Dead Poet's Society, are just some of the titles I can recall right now. Among those titles I mentioned, I think Stand By Me is the closest to my heart. It starred a lot of popular child stars in the 80's era including the late River Phoenix. It was truly one of those movies that I would remember for the rest of my life...
