What do you think are the main differences between the youth of today and the older generation? -- I think youth has more freedom as older generation had and it spoils the youth. I mean, we don't have values like our grandparents had. We can't tell a story how older generation can. We don't have that peace, we do things too fast.

Technology allows todays generation to do things at a much faster pace but who is to say that previous generations would not moved even faster had the technology been avaiable to them. I agree with you that family values and the art of telling a story seem to be on the decline but is the younger generation to blame for the decline, or did we as parents stop sharing the stories with them?

The older generation was more concerned with getting a job and having a family while the newer generation want to enjoy their lifeto the fullest. I am a youth and the things that I feel the most about the older generations are that they were brought in a disciplined atmosphere, and they couldn't talk against the head of the family, they were having a better moral standing, they were ready to sacrifise for the family than their friends, they obeyed their parents more than what we do and there are many more. The thing that caused all this changes maybe the explsion of knowledge, the spread of mass media and its vices, the sense of freedom etc.

I agree, the youth's generation now do things more quickly...because of the technology that we have now. And I think because of that some of them had become lazy and it has taken away their time from their family.
