Women live longer than Men!

Woman usually live longer than men do, why do you think this is? How far statics go here in my country (Baltic States, Latvia) women live 3-4 years longer than men. Not only they are statics about old people, because old people went through the wars and lost many men, that could be explanation of men short lives. But it's still happening these days. Do women live different? Healthier maybe? Because in health, I think women are more subordinate to all kind of illnesses so why they still live longer than men?

it is because in female organism present female hormones like for example the most common knowne are estrogen and progestrone. thesse hormones actually protect female from various diseases. let them less predisposed to the diseases. for example. the coronary heart diseases. in some ways the females hormones help protecting organism from getting some the diseases ..therefore female live longer.. that's my point...
