Arguing over the disciplining?

Do you ever find yourself arguing over the discipline of your children? Can you ever meet in the middle and compromise?

I am a single mom, so I am the one who decides the disciline and punishment for things. There is no one to argue with over it.

We tried never to do this in front of the kids, but we did discuss things in private, It seems to me that two people coming from different families can't help but have different ideas about discipline.

Me and my husband argue sometimes about how to discipline our kids. I am a strict person and a disciplinarian but I rarely spank my kids. I more likely scold them when they do something bad. Me and my husband most of the time compromises on how to do the disciplining around the house.
