I am so behind already!

Today is going to be such a busy day, and already I'm off to a horrible start. Normally by now I'd be getting to my first stop on my shopping trip, Sam's Club. It opens at 10am and usually I'm out the door at 9:30 to be there. After that I go to Walmart, then normally that's the end of my Friday. Well, today is different. I woke up a bit later than usual, was supposed to drive hubby in but was too busy so he drove himself. Then I was on the phone with IRS for half an hour trying to get some information off last year's taxes so I could e-file this years. Then I had to start dinner in the crock pot. During all this the little one decided he needed a nap, so that's what he's doing at the moment. Now I haven't even showered yet, and it's 10am. I have to get the shopping done, the house is destroyed, both the babies need a bath, and, my daughter has her baton recital tonight, and I don't even know where it is!! Luckily the coordinator for that lives across the street from me, so I'll just have to stop there and ask her at some point. I feel so overwhelmed, and like I have far too much to do, and not enough time to do it. Have you ever had one of those days? Okay, I'm off to take my shower while the baby finishes his nap, then I'll have to do the shopping as quick as possible. Thank goodness dinner will be quick since it's going to be cooking all day!

It is a little after 10 am here and I have not done anything yet really. I need to get dressed and head out to the store to get a few things, but I am feeling lazy right now. I don't need to shower first since I did last night. I have hectic days once in awhile where it seems like nothing is going to get done that I need to get done. I hope you manage everything alright today.

I typically shower at night too, because it's usually the only chance I get. I'll shower after hubby is home from work because I don't like to get up so early to do it in the morning. But he worked a late night last night, and we had stuff to discuss about the move and such, so the shower didn't happen. I realized this morning I just couldn't leave the house as is.

To be honest with you nearly everyday ends up being like that for me! I do not think it helps that I am so disorganised, I never used to be but since I had my fourth child my routine went out of the window and stayed out. I find for me it helps if I write everything down on an organiser the night before and plan my day out but often as not I forget to do that too so I am just a disorganised mess each day ha ha!!

Normally I'm far more organized than I am today. Normally I have a grocery list that usually I'd start on Wednesday, sometimes even sooner. This week I had no sort of list, and no sort of idea what I'm doing for dinners this week. That's so not like me. So then I spend my grocery shopping time trying to keep a list in my mind of all the things I need, and I completely forgot I'm supposed to pick up stuff for after my daughter's baton show, they doing refreshments and each parent is supposed to bring something. I promised to bring plates, and totally forgot, so I have to go back out for that now.

Wow, your morning overwhelmed me, lol. You have alot to do today, but I know you can get it done. Just take it one step at a time. I too have mornings like this, where nothing goes according to schedule. All you can do is take a deep breath and forge forward. Hopefully the lines won't be long at Costco or at Walamart.

I seem to have days like that a lot. I never really ever have a time when I'm not in a rush to do several different things. Sometimes I get behind by being late, but sometimes I'm a bit lazy and make myself late. That is how I've discovered to really cut some corners to cut down on the time it takes to do things. Also, I make sure to do all the things that need done first, first and those little things that can wait, do wait. It really helps keep me sane.

Yes, this has happened in this household quite a few times. LOL It frustrates me, but I have to keep reminding myself that tomorrow will be better . . . or, at least that's what I'm hoping. :-)

Today is babysit the grandbaby day and I am all out of whack and off schedule. I keep forgetting how many things an active 7 month old can get into. I know one thing, I need to baby-proof the house today. Everytime I think I have everything safely out of the way, she shows grandma that I don't

It's a never ending battle with little ones around. As soon as they finally stop going after one thing, they go for something else. I have a toddler and a 1 year old, and my twins are only 3 years older than the toddler. Well basically, my house has always been baby proofed, but just when I think all is safe, they start playing with the buttons on the computers, turning them off and on, then they head for the stairs, or into the bathroom or kitchen... never ending battle I tell ya.

most of my days are like that. i would love to be in two places at once. i work outside of the house part time as well as running a jewellry business and a craft business plus, i am trying to write a book and take care of my house and family (fortunately, my kids are older, so i dont have to do as much for them!) most days it just seems there are not enough hours in the day.

I used to back when I was a single working parent but nowadays my life is pretty laid back and I can usually do what I want to do. It is hard when you have too much to do and not enough time to do it in however. I sympathsize. My sister works alot and has two kids involved in many different activities so she is always lacking for time.

I'm forever looking at my watch and realising that it's nearly lunchtime and I've done nothing from my list because I've been caught up in doing all the routine everyday stuff. What's worse than that though is when I've been racing around all morning like a mad thing but I've nothing to show for it.
