Do you socialize with people from work?

Hi there. Yes, I do. We usually go out for lunch/dinner/coffee and talk about stuff - office gossip, future plans, etc. I find it difficult to imagine how you could spend most of your time with people and not get to socialize with them even occasionally. I think it's healthy, trying to get along with the people you work with and hanging out outside the confines of the office. It also takes some of the stress off the job, knowing that you can talk to someone in your immediate vicinity about what's bothering you.

I don't socialize with people from work. I like to keep my personal life as far away as possible from my "work" life so I NEVER meet with people from work outside work. unless I totally have to do :D. Happy mylotting

hi lindery! well yeah, when i was still working, i used to socialize them. we share meals and we would go out together. sometimes, we even spent valentines together. we would eat lunch together and the evenings were reserved for our special people. we were a pretty close knit bunch. there were only 15 of us in the office so we did pretty much the same things--men and women included. it was fun while it lasted. now i work freelance and i stay at home. so no more workmates. hehe take care and God bless you! happy mylotting!

Recalling days when i was working, i was on good terms with my colleagues. - Morning greeting, and afterwork good bye to start with. Being aware of people around is no.1 rule of recognition. - Congratulations expressed on occasions of accomplishment, - Prompt support given when needed, - Active participation in teamwork building activities, etc. Only socialization done naturally will bring about positive results.

Well not really. we do not have time for that. We do meet for lunch and have a chat for about 1 hour.
