husband's point of view on having a collection of bags

My wife thinks that having a bag is a fashion statement. But having more than 10 or to be accurate, less than fifty is already considered as addictive.Her collection occupies lots of space in our room.Don't get me wrong but it is alright with me.Lately, she is asking for my advice on the certain looks of a bag that she wants and involving me on her latest craze is amusing.Not only that, she has learned to visit second hand stores for more additions aside from her purchases online.
Women in general wants shoes and bags..and they will never get tired of buying for more.Bags are considered like a diamond to them. But for me, these are rewards for their endless care to the family.

To be honest, I've never understood the fascination that some women have with owning lots of handbags. I no longer use handbags/purses, but when I did (in my teen years and early 20's), I had one purse for daily use and one or two for dressy occasions. I usually chose basic black handbags that would go with any outfit. When the handbag got raggedy, I'd buy another to replace it and it would last me a year or two.

thank you for your honesty.at first, i dont understand why she needs to buy more bags..i often tells her that she cannot bring all of them in her arms.she does not settle to one color only, it needs to be color coordinated sometimes to her outfits..or the bag must catch an attention.she is now on her 30's and i don't see any signs that she is giving up on her interest.

at least she gets to use her bags.some people I know,they collect stuff but don't want to use them.just let her be.much better that she asks for your opinion on what you think is a lovely bag.let her have fun with bag shopping and collecting.it's a reward she truly deserves.

My husband was the one who bought bags for me, he said that i always think how our budget fit on all our expenses that's why i dont think on buying things i need. I'am happy for his gesture being thinking of me once in a while he appreciate all of my effort taking care of our family. It is so nice to a woman to think that their husband love to see them happy, and give the things that he knows that her wife loves to have.
