Have you ever tried ice cream with milk and its blended after that? When I was around 10 years old, my friend had this idea of a healthy kids drink which tasted good, so we actually mixed the Neapolitan ice cream with cold milk and had it blend up. The taste was satisfyingly good that I have actually still kept practicing it. If you think this is odd...you're welcome to leave your comments as well, one of my cousin called us crazy...hahah. Have fun. Princess

Hello, it's not odd to blend ice cream with milk for an ice cream milk shake.Thats how we split our left over ice cream so no one will be left out

I've made homemade milkshakes before. They are very good and are tasty. I like to make them and to drink them also. The only thing is that the calories can really add up in those and you can drink them and they are forever in your system. I havent made a homemade milkshake in awhile but I might think about it. I've got some older ice cream.

The calories do stay in actually...as I'm a bit abnormal where I don't put on weight easily...the main reason why most people whom I know don't really try it and the first comment would be "tooo creamy"...well hope you enjoy yours. Princess

Milk shakes are a normal drink where I live. Milk shakes have been around for a long time. I like chocolate milk shakes and my husband likes vanilla. I do not usually make them at home, but in the summer months, if we go to the ice cream parlor, I will order a milk shake. They are very good when it is hot outside. I am glad you like the taste of a milk shake, but for me it is not an odd drink. I also like ice cream sodas, they are sold in the ice cream parlors as well. Actually I made one for myself last week, it was really good.

I use to do that as a kid. I would hand blend it with a spoon. I had to melt the ice cream in the microwave first though. Its just we didn't have a blender.

Oh..i still blend it with a spoon these days. The weather here is warm and for the past week nights the ice cream just melts since the ice cream here does not contain that much cream...we only used the blender method at our friends home..heheh. Great to know you enjoy it too... Princess
